Simply Grassfed, in case you didn’t know, is composed of two farms. Alpine Heritage Creamery, our dairy and creamery where Alvin Fisher and family produces the raw A2/A2 cheeses as well as the butcher shop that processes our pasture-raised meats are in Paradise, PA.
Burke’s Garden Farm in the Southern Appalachian mountains of Virginia is where John Fisher and family raise all the meat animals.
Burke’s Garden, received 12 inches of rain in 2 days. Power is still out and cell service just came back on line.
The community is well prepared with solar and generators. The major freezer storage space for meats and cheeses is still up and running with no loss of food.
Folks in the community, have been juggling cleaning up fallen trees on sheds, roads, power lines, drying out household items from the flood waters, and keeping the animals from escaping through broken fences, rotating them to new pastures, and fed.
